Rotring 600 Trio-Pen

The Rotring 600 Trio-Pen comes in two colors: black and silver, both matte. It's packed in stylish Rotring gift case (which, I guess, you have already seen as it's quite common).

The Rotring 600 Trio-Pen has a very solid look and feel. I cannot say it's modern, although it's somewhat classy. "Trio-Pen" means that it can write in three modes which are: a ballpoint (you can choose from blue and black colors), a yellow pointy-tip stylus and a 0.7 mechanical pencil. It isn't a bit heavy for a pen. It makes you to respect it (which also means that if you loose it, you'll get angry). If you think that the Rotring 600 TP weight is a disadvantage, you're wrong. Actually writing with it is a pleasurable experience It's excellently balanced and surely that is the factor causing it. Even for writing a long documents it is still all right.

Though it may look a bit coarse on the photos, that is not what you think about the Rotring 600 Trio-Pen when you get used to it. Actually it's a smooth pen. It's body is rounded in the top and bottom and it's hexagonal in the middle. It includes an engineer-style pocket clip which you can remove if you don't like it that much.

The "interface" of this pen is as simple as it could be: to change the mode you have to rotate it's shaft and press the top cap. You can easily recognize actual mode by either writing with it (which is a quite obvious solution) or looking at the icon displayed near the top of it.

You can access the eraser by taking off the cap.

The Rotring 600 Trio-Pen is a stylish, all-in-one tool for someone who doesn't mind paying a little bit more for a better quality. If you like the style of it and you don't mind it's weight - I sincerely recommend the Rotring 600 Trio-Pen to you. Additionaly, if you're an engineer - this is a thing for you :).
